The Chartreuse we stayed in was just beautiful, with oodles of space for our two families. The children were kept entertained for hours in the pool, playing badminton, on the trampoline or playing snooker and table tennis - there was so much space for them to just run around outside. Both the owner and the guardian went out of their way to help us, arranging a private chef on a few occasions and generally offering tips on what to do or where to go.
