The hilltop Manoir is one of those rare Dordogne properties that instantly feels like a retreat. Set high on its own private hill, with sweeping vineyard views, a heated salt-water pool and beautifully styled interiors, this is an exceptional home ideal for families, groups, and multi-generational holidays.
Situated just 15 minutes from Bergerac Airport, this large holiday home combines rural tranquillity with superb access to the most sought-after destinations in South-West France.
The Manoir accommodation is spacious and flexible with an elegant Living Room with grand piano, TV, and a cosy wood-burner, a large family Kitchen with everything you need for group cooking as well as a dedicated workspace and Wi-Fi throughout the property. There are two large terraces ideal for sunrise coffees and sunset aperos.
The seven/eight bedrooms offer flexible accommodation as follows;
Ground Floor
Bedroom 8 is set next door the house and has a king four poster bed with an en-suite shower room.
The Manoir’s elevated setting gives it a wonderfully open feel and is perfect for relaxed French summer living yet is still very private with a tree lined private driveway. There is a heated salt-water pool with countryside views over the property's own vines. There is a BBQ area and pool entertainment area with Table Tennis. With numerous terraces on offer, you can pick the shady places to sit and enjoy the views throughout the day and into the evening.

- Bedroom 1 is ground-floor suite with super-king four-poster bed, a travertine tiled en-suite shower room and a private conservatory with stunning views over the garden.
- Bedroom 2 has a super-king four-poster bed and a sofa-bed so can sleep up to 4 and ideal as a family suite. It has a travertine tiled en-suite shower-room.
- Bedroom 3 has a super-king four-poster bed with luxurious en-suite featuring bath and shower.
- Bedroom 4 is a double bedroom with shared family bathroom.
- Bedroom 5 is a double bedroom with an additional single bed. This bedroom shares the family bathroom above.
- Bedroom 6 is a dormitory style bedroom with six bunk beds and an interconnecting double bedroom (Bedroom 7) so sleeping a total of 8 guests. There is also a Sofa and TV. Guests share the Family Bathroom.

From the Manoir, you are perfectly placed to explore the best of the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne as well venturing into the Gironde! Located between the two medieval villages of Eymet and Issigeac, there is always plenty to do. Eymet is known for it's bustling market square, cafés and great restaurants and Issigeac is famous for the best market in the area on a Sunday market, as well as boutique shops and medieval charm. Just a 15 minute drive north is Bergerac with it's cobbled streets and quay opening up to many restaurants, wine bars, museums and lovely walks along the Dordogne river. A small but International Airport is also here.The Dordogne valley is well known for its abundance of vineyards including Monbazillac, Pecharment and Bergerac AOCs. There are activities to suit all ages and interests, foodies will enjoy the great local restaurants at the heart of France's centre of gastronomic excellence, as well as daily morning markets and in the summer, many night markets as well. The area has been described the capital of world prehistory, and culture vultures are spoilt for choice with caves, museums and chateaux aplenty.
Getting Here
The Manoir is just 15 minutes south of Bergerac making it an easy final destination. Bergerac has its own International Airport. The vibrant city of Bordeaux is 1hr 30 minutes away, with a larger International Airport servicing even more UK and Worldwide destinations. In addition, Toulouse Airport is approximately 1hr 30 mins drive to the south - again a large International Airport. The TGV station at Libourne connects with Paris.Our Opinion
