Who is my rental contract with?
Your contract is direct with the owner so you obtain the lowest price with added assistance and re-assurance that using a registered agency offers. We know the properties and not only can you be assured they exist, you also get our unbiased opinion of which properties would suit your holiday group best.
Am I paying any extra fees for the services of Simply Aquitaine?
Absolutely not! We always insist that we advertise at the same rate as all of our owners and in many cases, we are the only advertiser as our owners are happy to market exclusively with us. We do not charge an additional Booking Fee!
What percentage deposit do I pay to confirm the booking?
Most of our properties ask for either 25% or 30% non-refundable deposit. This will be made clear in the Booking Information.
When do I pay the final rental balance and breakage deposit?
The final balance and breakage deposit becomes due 12 weeks prior to your holiday date. We will send you a gentle reminder nearer the time.
Is it possible to add additional guests later?
Yes. You will need to complete a Booking Form at the time of your Booking. As long as you remain within the maximum numbers of guests allowed, it is possible to add names nearer the time. We do ask that all name additions/changes are completed within 3 weeks of your booking.
Please note, if you have obtained a discount for a smaller group booking, additional charges will be made for any extra guests.
Are the maps locations accurate?
No. They are there to give you a general idea of the location. On booking, you will be sent specific directions that will literally take you to the front door or in most cases….the very impressive front gate!!

Please call us in the office. We have a UK number which makes it easier, quicker and cheaper for you. The number is +44 208 123 3830. We are all English so please do not worry about the language! What extra services are available at my (self-catering) holiday rental property?
We are very conscious that some of our guests want complete privacy and no services at all, yet others are looking for a fully staffed option from start to finish. We aim to offer as much or as little as you require, so please do let us know your ideal and we will try to achieve this. To give you an idea, we work with Chefs, Cooks, Nannies, Babysitters, Chauffeurs, Private Jet companies, Food and Wine Delivery services………
A number of our Ski Chalets and a few of our summer rentals that offer the “Experience” holidays such as the Yoga retreats do include a chef and housekeeper plus either full catering or partial catering. This is made clear in the property description and booking information.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Normally arrival time is between 16.00 and 17.00hrs and departure time is before 10.00am on the day of departure.
