The chateau sleeps up to 18 guests in pure luxury and it is possible to add additional beds for children in a couple of the rooms There are 6 bedrooms in the Chateau including a 2 bedroom apartment. There is also a Chateau Coach-house which is linked directly to the Chateau and this offers an additional three beautiful bedrooms, again all en-suite. The reception rooms are large and numerous. In the Chateau there is a formal Dining Room as well as a drawing room and more relaxed living room. The kitchen is stunning and well equipped. There is also a second fully equipped kitchen in the Chateau apartment. The Coach House is linked to the Chateau and has stunning views over the lake. The accommodation is still of the same luxury standard and it has 3 more bedrooms, all of which are en-suite. In addition, there is a further kitchen, beautiful living room which opens up to a large terrace and an Orangerie. The Chateau can come fully staffed with a Cook, Daily Maid and Cleaner. The 12m x 6m heated saltwater swimming pool has an infinity end with views over the lake and private grounds. In total, there are 7 hectares of land which includes large terraces, formal gardens, beautiful lawns, a lake, fields and woodland.
The bastide town of Eymet is just 3kms away with shops, bars and restaurants as well as the weekly market. The Dordogne river-side town of Bergerac with its International Airport is just a 25 minute drive to the North.
It is an ideal holiday home for families and groups in search of tranquillity and privacy whilst being in easy reach of the wealth of interest that the Dordogne has to offer. The Dordogne valley is well known for its abundance of vineyards including Monbazillac, Pecharment and Bergerac AOCs. There are activities to suit all ages and interests, foodies will enjoy the great local restaurants at the heart of France's centre of gastronomic excellence, as well as the wine of AOC Bergerac. The area has been described the capital of world prehistory, and culture vultures are spoilt for choice with caves, museums and chateaux aplenty.
The Chateau is just 25 minutes south of Bergerac making it an easy final destination. Bergerac has its own International Airport. Ryanair flies here from London Stansted, Liverpool, Nottingham, and Bristol. Flybe flies into Bergerac from London Gatwick, Southampton, Exeter and Edinburgh. There are also interconnecting flights to Belfast, Glasgow, Dundee and Newcastle with Flybe. Jet2 flies to Leeds Bradford Airport and Transvania flies to Rotterdam. Twinjet also now flies from Bergerac to Paris.
The vibrant city of Bordeaux is 1hr 30 minutes away, with a larger International Airport servicing even more UK and Worldwide destinations. In addition, Toulouse Airport is approximately 1hr 30 mins drive to the south - again a large International Airport. The TGV station at Libourne connects with Paris.
