The Accommodation
La Chartreuse is a large property made up of the main house, large events salon, guest wing, a two-bedroom gite, and an eye-catching tower.
There are 7 bedrooms in total and these comprise of the following
Bedroom 1 is in the gite and has a Super King bed
Bedroom 2 is in the gite and has a Queen sized bed
Bedroom 3 is in the main house and is an extra large double bedroom with a super king bed and an additional double bed
Bedroom 4 is in the main house and is an extra large double bedroom with a super king bed and an additional double bed
Bedroom 5 is in the main house and is a triple bunk bed room
Bedroom 6 is in the main house and is a ground floor double bedroom with a super king bed.
Bedroom 7 is in the Tower and is a double bedroom with a super king bed.
Outside Living
The Chartreuse is set within 5 hectares of grounds and offers endless spaces for photographs. The 12m x 6m pool is perfectly positioned with plenty of recliners and seating. There are also plans to add additional accomodation in the grounds in the form of "Glamping" cabins for an additional 10 guests.

Local Area
The Chartreuse is located in an ideal location on the Dordogne/Gironde borders and close to many beautiful villages and towns. The village of Eymet which is close by has a weekly morning market each Thursday throughout the year and during the summer months there are additional night markets on a Tuesday and Thursday as well as many other different fetes and celebrations. The Dordogne riverside town of Bergerac with its International Airport is just a 30 minute drive north and the vibrant city of Bordeaux with a larger International Airport is just a one hour and 30 minute drive to the West. There are activities to suit all ages and interests, foodies will enjoy the great local restaurants at the heart of France's centre of gastronomic excellence, as well as the wine of AOC Bergerac. The area has been described as the capital of world prehistory, and culture vultures are spoilt for choice with caves, museums and chateaux aplenty.
Getting Here
The Chartreuse is ideally positioned between 3 International Airports making it an easy final destination. The Dordogne river-side town of Bergerac with its International Airport is just under an hour away. Ryanair flies here from London Stansted, Liverpool, Nottingham, and Bristol. Jet2 flies to Leeds Bradford Airport and Transvania flies to Rotterdam. Twinjet also now flies from Bergerac to Paris. The vibrant city of Bordeaux is 1hr 30 minutes away, with a larger International Airport servicing over 95 UK and Worldwide destinations. In addition, Toulouse Airport is approximately 1hr 30 mins drive to the south - again a large International Airport.
