Accommodation

This lovely villa is set on the edge of the beautiful bastide village of Eymet. The villa has been fully renovated and offers flexible and modern accommodation. The property is set back from the road and has a gated entrance with plenty of off street private parking.
All the accommodation is on the ground floor although this is set up a few steps from the garden. The living area is open plan with a dining area and living area. The kitchen is set at the back of the house with a large window overlooking the garden and is equipped with fridge freezer, hob, oven, microwave and coffee machine as well as plenty of crockery, cutlery and all the cooking utensils you could require. The living area has a large three seater sofa which can become a double bed for extra guests. There is a large screen TV and WIFI throughout.

The interior decor is light and very modern.

Off the living area, there are 2 bedrooms and the modern shower room.

• Bedroom 1 has a double bed with the window overlooking the garden towards the swimming pool.
• Bedroom 2 has a double bed and the window overlooks the front of the property.
• Both bedrooms share the modern and spacious shower room with large walk in shower, sink and WC.

For heating in the winter there are oil fired radiators.

Outdoor Living

Although a 5 minute walk into the centre of this pretty French village, this house offers a large garden with mature trees as well as a 8m x 4m swimming pool. The swimming pool is set behind the house and has terracing as well as a large grassed area. There is an exterior dining table for 4 as well as recliners around the pool. There is a coal BBQ.

Location

Eymet is a bustling village with many bars, restaurants and shops. There is a weekly Thursday morning market and then throughout the summer months there are night markets on a Tuesday and a Thursday. There are also many special events such as White Wine and Oyster Festival, Medieval weekend and Banquet etc.

It is possible to rent the property for shorter breaks and we have flexible arrival days throughout the year to accomodate long weekends, ideal for guests arriving for local wedding stays. It is also possible for longer term rentals out of peak season.

Eymet is just a 25 minute drive to the Dordogne river-side town of Bergerac with its old quay and International Airport. The area is ideal for families as it offers peace and quiet with beautiful countryside as well as being easily accessible to the enormous amount of activities that the Dordogne region as to offer.
There are activities to suit all ages and interests, foodies will enjoy the great local restaurants at the heart of France's centre of gastronomic excellence, as well as the wine of AOC Bergerac. The area has been described the capital of world prehistory, and culture vultures are spoilt for choice with caves, museums and chateaux aplenty.

Getting Here

The Villa is ideally positioned just 25 minutes drive from Bergerac International Airport making it an easy final destination. Ryanair flies here from London Stansted, Liverpool, Nottingham, and Bristol. British Airways also flies into Bergerac from London Gatwick, and Southampton.

The vibrant city of Bordeaux is 1hr 30 minutes away, with a larger International Airport servicing even more UK and Worldwide destinations. In addition, Toulouse Airport is approximately 1hr 50 minutes drive to the south - again a large International Airport
