Accommodation
This chic townhouse is set in the centre of the village of Lauzun which is on the Dordogne/Lot et Garonne borders. Set just a short walk into the centre of the village, the house has recently been fully renovated.
There is an entrance hall which leads up to the first floor where you will find all the accommodation. The kitchen is stunning with an open plan dining area. The kitchen has a fridge freezer, hob, oven/microwave and coffee machine as well as being fully equipped with new crockery, cutlery and all the cooking utensils you could require. There is also a large open plan living area with comfy sofas.
There is a large flat screen TV with Freeview UK television. The house also has WIFI.
For heating in the winter, there are electric radiators.
Outdoor Living
Although right in the centre of this pretty French village, this house offers a pretty and private courtyard garden. There is an exterior dining table for 4 as well as a coal BBQ.
Location
Lauzun is a charming village with shops bar and restaurants. There is a weekly Saturday morning market and then throughout the summer months there are additional night markets and special events.It is possible to rent the property for shorter breaks and we have flexible arrival days throughout the year to accomodate long weekends, ideal for guests arriving for local wedding stays. It is also possible for longer term rentals out of peak season.
The house is easily accessible to many local medieval towns such as Eymet (7 minute drive), Castillonnes (12 minute drive), Issigeac (20 minute drive) and Monflanquin (30 minute drive).
Lauzun is also just a 30 minute drive to the Dordogne river-side town of Bergerac with its old quay and International Airport. The area is ideal for families as it offers peace and quiet with beautiful countryside as well as being easily accessible to the enormous amount of activities that the Dordogne region as to offer. There are activities to suit all ages and interests, foodies will enjoy the great local restaurants at the heart of France's centre of gastronomic excellence, as well as the wine of AOC Bergerac. The area has been described the capital of world prehistory, and culture vultures are spoilt for choice with caves, museums and chateaux aplenty.

The location is ideal as you are within a small village with shops, bars and restaurants but set in a lovely The courtyard is private and has a dining table and BBQ. The bustling town of Eymet is just a 7 minute drive and Bergerac with the river Dordogne and International Airport is just a 30 minute drive.
