A haven of peace and tranquillity, this impressive 20 bedroom Château, set on a hill in 60 acres of woods and parkland, has plenty of space both inside and out, with comfortable en-suite accommodation - for parties of up to 40.

The Château is ideal for special family celebrations, holidays, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, as well as corporate events, conferences, seminars, film and photo shoots. There is a lovely 14x7m swimming pool, a tennis court and a boules pitch.

?The attractive Bastide town of Eymet is only 5 minutes away, Bergerac airport only 30 minutes away, and Bordeaux is 1.5 hours away.

Accommodation

This Chateau is great for large parties and functions. There are three large receptions rooms in the main Chateau including a large entrance hall, a library, and a formal drawing room. There is also a small study area. The converted stables which are joined to the Chateau by a covered walkway provide additional reception rooms and the semi-professional kitchen. You enter from the walkway into the Tavern which has a bar area with seating. Off to the left is the large dining room and cosy snug. From the dining room there is access to the semi-professional kitchen which is ideal for wedding and anniversary parties. There is also a small kitchen area off the library back in the main Chateau building.

There are 20 bedrooms in total and all of them have en-suite shower or bath rooms. These are set out over 3 levels and are connected by an impressive and original stone spiral staircase. It is possible to rent from 10 to 20 of the bedrooms depending on your group size and needs. In all cases, full exclusivity is given of the Chateau and its facilities and grounds.

The owners live on site in separate accommodation and are able to provide assistance and further services should guests require but otherwise they will ensure complete privacy is given to all guests.

Outdoor Living

The Chateau has numerous different terraces and exterior areas for outdoor living. There are formal lawns and formal gardens which are ideal for wedding photographs, yet at the same time there are grassy meadows and long woodland walks.The large dining terrace is the ideal place to relax of an evening and watch the sun set.

The 14m x 8m pool is set a short walk from the Chateau building and there are plenty of recliners and seating for guests. There is a fenced tennis court exclusively for guest use as well as a boules pitch and badminton area.

Local Area

The Chateau is just a few kilometres from the villages of Eymet and Lauzun. Eymet is a Dordogne village bustling with life all year round. There are numerous bars, restaurants and shops as well as a weekly Thursday morning market. There are also plenty of special events and festivities throughout the summer including weekly night markets, wine and oyster fairs, medieval banquets to name just a few. The village of Lauzun is quieter but it still has a weekly market, a restaurant/hotel as well as a grocery shop, cafe and boulangerie. The Dordogne river-side town of Bergerac is only a short drive (25 kms) with its abundance of bars, restaurants, markets, museums and International Airport.

Getting Here

The Chateau is ideally positioned for Bergerac Airport as well as Bordeaux Airport.

The Dordogne river-side town of Bergerac with its International Airport is just 25kms away. Ryanair flies here from London Stansted, Liverpool, Nottingham, and Bristol. Flybe flies into Bergerac from London Gatwick, Southampton, Exeter and Edinburgh. There are also interconnecting flights to Belfast, Glasgow, Dundee and Newcastle with Flybe. Jet2 flies to Leeds Bradford Airport and Transvania flies to Rotterdam. Twinjet also now flies from Bergerac to Paris.

Bordeaux airport is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes drive away (165kms) and is a much larger Airport with carries such as British Airways, EasyJet, Ryanair.
