Accommodation

The entrance to the Chateau and the ground floor is impressive with a stone staircase up to the entrance door. On the ground floor here is a Kitchen, Living Room and Library as well as a Dining Room. On the lower ground floor there is a fantastic Jazz Bar. The Chateau has 17 bedrooms which are spread over three floors as follows.

Lower Ground floor

There are three double bedrooms all with en-suite shower-rooms.

First Floor

The first floor has been organised for families and has 5 bedrooms in total. It includes four large en-suite bedrooms with an additional bridal suite. These bedrooms can accommodate between 3-5 guests in each bedroom.
The bridal suite includes a double bedroom, a kitchenette, a boudoir, a bathroom with bath and shower and its own lounge with access to the west oriented terrace that overlooks the park.
All bedrooms open on the park and are secluded in these green surroundings offering peace and quiet.

Second Floor

The second floor has 9 luxury double bedrooms. There are 8 bathrooms on this floor. 7 bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms and then there is a shared family bathroom between bedrooms 8 and 9.

The second floor of the Chateau has recently undergone a complete refurbishment to a very high standard and offers nine very spacious and bright double bedrooms.

Converted Stable Block and Orangerie

In addition to the Chateau, there is a converted stable block which has recently undergone a recent complete refurbishment that has restored all its original charm.
The stable block now has a large reception with modern open plan and fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor. The first floor has 3 large en-suite bedrooms. There are 2 double bedrooms (Queen) and one twin bedroom.

There is also the Orangerie which offers an additional studio apartment with kitchen bar and living area. There is a king size bedroom area and en-suite shower.

Venue Facilities

The Chateau is ideal for weddings and other large events. There is a main Reception Hall in part of the converted stable block which is triple height and can seat up to 200 guests. There is a large terrace beside the Reception Hall ideal for pre-dinner drinks and arrival as well as an outside square planted with mature trees. There is also the Winter Garden which is a glass marquee structure with stunning views for miles over the French countryside.

Inside the Chateau itself there is a grand Reception Hall and Drawing Room and Dining Room. On the lower ground floor there is 60’s style jazz bar to which is ideal for late evening drinks and cocktails.

Outdoor Living

The Chateau is set within a 34 hectare estate and has a mix of parkland, woodland and 3 lakes as well as more formal gardens and terraces. There is heated a Swimming Pool and 2 Tennis Courts.

Please note: For extra accommodation, there are 4 woodland Lodges that have been recently renovated in the forest. Each cabin can sleep between 2 and 4 extra guests and has en-suite facilities. Please enquire for prices

Local Area

The Chateau is set just 2kms from a pretty riverside village at the most western point of the Dordogne and thus easily accessed from Bordeaux. This pretty village has amenities such as restaurants and markets as well as additional overflow accommodation. The beautiful villages of Aubeterre sur Dronne (18kms) and Riberac (28kms) are close by. The famous town of St Emilion is just 30kms away and definitely worth a visit to experience the wine Chateaux and amazing restaurants.

Getting Here

The Chateau is ideally positioned for guests to easily access your event. it is just over an hour to Bordeaux Airport with a large number of flights from the UK and the rest of Europe including with British Airways, Ryanair and Easy Jet. Bergerac International Airport making is also just over an hour drive away with many UK flights. Ryanair flies here from London Stansted, Liverpool, Nottingham, Bristol, East Midlands and Brussels. Flybe flies into Bergerac from London Gatwick, Southampton, Birmingham, Manchester, Exeter and Edinburgh. British Airways flies from London City Airport. There are also interconnecting flights to Belfast, Glasgow, Dundee and Newcastle with Flybe. Jet2 flies to Leeds Bradford Airport. Transvania flies to Rotterdam. There are also TGV links to Paris at Libourne which is approximately a 45 minute drive away.
