Accommodation

There are 5 separate cottages set within landscaped gardens and each cottage has its own terrace, outside dining area and BBQ. Four of the cottages are set within an old tobacco barn which has been completely restored. The fifth is set at the side of the property, just a few steps away. All the cottages have quality cotton linen and towels and dressing gowns are provided.

Sequoia Cottage

This cottage is set at the end of the barn with a large terrace overlooking the garden and poplar trees towards the river. There is a large modern kitchen with all the modern appliances and a living area with vaulted ceiling and dining area for 6.
Bedroom 1 is a king size bedroom with an en-suite roll top bath and shower room. Bedroom 2 is a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room.. Bedroom 3 is a king size bedroom with a shower room and is downstairs

Poplar Cottage

This cottage is all on one level and had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Again there is a large modern kitchen with living and dining area as well as a private terrace both at the back and the front of the cottage
Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom with a shower room en-suite. Bedroom 2 is a twin bedroom with family bath and shower-room.

Mimosa Cottage

This cottage is also on one level and a mirror image of Poplar Cottage with a spacious and modern kitchen with dining and living area. The 2 bedrooms provide a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The double bedroom has an en-suite shower room and the twin bedroom has a family bath and shower room.

Acer Cottage

This cottage is on 2 levels and can also be accessed by the side door as well as by the 2 terraces both back and front. The modern kitchen is light and bright and the living and dining areas are beautiful and very inviting.
Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor and is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room next door. Bedroom 2 is a king size bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower over.

Willow Cottage

This cottage is set around the corner and has a lovely garden and terrace. The modern kitchen is well equipped and there is a dining area and living area. The cottage is on one level and there are 2 bedrooms. There is a large king size bedroom with a small lobby area and an en-suite bathroom with roll top bath and shower. Bedroom 2 is a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room.

There is also a communal games/yoga room (55 sqm) as well as a large communal dining terrace with BBQ and pizza oven overlooking the heated pool.

Outside Living

This complex is a outdoor paradise. The gîtes are set in 25 acres of landscaped grounds, woodland, parkland and river frontage. Every gîte has its own terraces and dining areas. The heated swimming pool is 25m in length and has a children's pool as well which is 7m x 7m. There is plenty of seating around the pool with recliners and cocoon beds. There are 2 children's play areas as well as a sunken trampoline. For the more energetic there are 2 football goals set out on a pitch as well as plenty of woodland walks and treks. The river frontage is worth a visit and it is possible to fish from there.

Location

This complex offers the best of all worlds as it is set in beautiful and tranquil grounds yet is just a short walk into the bastide village of Eymet which has many bars, restaurants, shops as well as morning and evening markets. The Dordogne riverside town of Bergerac is just 25 minutes drive away and throughout the region there are many many beautiful medieval villages. The Dordogne region is well known for its food and wine and there is an abundance of restaurants to suit everyones budget as well a vineyards around every corner. For the active, if you can tear yourself away for the impressive pool, there are numerous sporting activities such as canoeing, riding, golfing to mention just a few. The area is also well know for world pre-history and the culture vultures are spoilt for choice with caves, museums and chateaux aplenty.


Getting Here

This complex is in an ideal position for easy travel. Bergerac with the river Dordogne and International Airport is just a 25 minute drive north with flights from London City, London Stansted, Birmingham, Bristol, East midlands, Exeter, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Southampton, Brussels, Nice and Amsterdam. . The larger airport of Bordeaux is a 1 hour and 30 minute drive away. In addition, there are airports at Toulouse and Limoges. There is a high speed train link at Libourne which is approximately 1hr away.
